What is your Latitude and Longitude? Try Google Maps again.

Posted by: Debasish on: October 23, 2007

Its is amazing that you can actually find the accurate values of latitude and longitude of a location from Google Maps itself.

Put the location at the centre of the map, by default if you have found the location by searching it directly then it is already centered but if you have scrolled to find it then you need a little bit of adjustment. Now copy and paste this code into address bar of your browser:

javascript:void(prompt(”,gApplication.getMap().getCenter()))

You’ll get a popup window displaying the coordinates. And thats it.

Get your coordinates now!
